The paper glared back at me as I stared at it like it was going to open itself and read the content in it.

There’s no way Gwen sent this, this letter should be from someone else’s but not Gwen.

“What’s in there Henry?” Emily asked, and my eyes snapped to hers.

She was looking curious, the same expression was also on my mother’s face and that told me one thing. None of them knew what was in the content of this letter.

“Nothing, I think it came to the wrong address.” I lied and quickly pocketed the letter.

“Really? But our address is there and it also came from……” Emily stopped talking when her eyes met mine.

“I said it’s nothing, Emily, so please let it go,” I said forcing a smile out.

I pray she shouldn’t comment more on this or even get the hint that something was wrong.
