Cheated On Again

I brought my car to life and sped out of the driveway.

Mason had the guts to dare to look at me while I was getting ready for work. I needed to finish him off soon enough. The divorce was in progress. All I had to do was wait for it to be over so that I could finish him off.

If I killed him now, I would be seen as the first suspect. The last thing I wanted was to be suspected by the cops, especially with my line of work. I needed to keep looking less incriminating.

My phone rang and I connected it to the car's speakers. Damon was the one calling. I answered it.

"Vivian? Are you on your way here already?" I asked.

I nodded my head and quickly remembered that he could not see me. I smiled at my silliness.

"Yes, I'm on my way," I answered.

I heard him exhale softly but this action meant something was up. I took a turn and entered the main highway. Other cars joined me and we sped down the road, none of us stopping for any reason. It was almost as if there was a coexisting competi
