Though I would have preferred to go alone, I knew that walking towards the venue would leave me both tired and exhausted to do anything else.

I was hesitant to sit in the same car as Steve but I knew that Garron had asked Steve to steer clear of me. No matter what, Steve couldn’t disobey his alpha even if he wanted to.

That thought eased me a little so I got in the car and Steve reluctantly got in the driver's seat.

He began driving in the harshest way possible, twisting his car through the narrow paths and zigzagging needlessly. His hands were digging into the steering wheel and I clung to the seat.

My hands went around the seat, clutching to it tightly as I tried to keep myself steady.

Steve was gritting his teeth and the car was winding down the streets that I couldn't distinguish anymore. Everything looked like a blur to me.

Thankfully, before my stomach would throw the contents of my morning breakf

I'm enjoying the heck out of this book. I am curious though about the timeline... I thought the ball was in 30 days and this all seems to happen in hours? days? did I miss read something(happens frequently)?
