Madeleine
“Silence”
After hearing him, everybody felt silent as we all turned our heads to look at alpha.
He didn’t look at me but simply said, “Enough of this bickering. Just state your opinions and let us come to a decision.”
The two boys fell silent but Raine decided to fight for me. “But, at least give her a chance to defend herself. You first gave her twenty four hours but started the trial in twelve, now you want a conclusion.”
Had it been anybody else, Hayden would have snapped. But as it was his elder sister whom he loved and respected like a mother he only rubbed his forehead and said with forced calm.
“If the convicted has anything to say this is your chance”
He added without looking at me. My eyes were glued to the floor and despite all the thoughts i had of asking for forgiveness and making him believe me, I decided to just be quiet.
