DRAX'S POV

I quickly pulled the girls out of the open view to the back of the two-storey building.

"How on earth did they get here before us?" I looked around, and that was when I saw clearly our pictures were all over the town.

There was a coffee shop next to the inn building that had glass walls in front of the building. I peeked into the shop and my eye caught the television hanging up on the wall.

My heart banged as I saw what was being displayed on the screen.

It was the news, and I and Rissa's pictures were boldly plastered on the screen, announcing us as dangerous fugitives.

From what was being displayed on the news, it seemed like our bounty had been increased to twenty-five million dollars.

I facepalmed as I realized our mistake. How could we have expected to find solace in a land that was also controlled by our enemy?
