109. Bet On Start

I ran happily to someone busy playing a game on his cell phone. He sat in the campus park, listening to music and playing games.

I'm not sure if he still wants to see me, considering I've been ignoring his calls and messages for the past week.

"What are you doing?" I asked while sitting beside him.

Adipati pulled down the earphones hanging from his ears and looked at me from head to toe.

Finally, you came out of the cave too," he sneered.

OK, I know he deserves to be upset. I'll take it.

"It will take time to throw it all away! It's not easy, you know!" I exclaimed as I shifted closer to him.

"So, you've thrown everything away? Your feelings for him?" He looked at me deeply.

I didn't say anything and just nodded quickly.

I'm not lying; I did throw it all away. There's nothing left. I really want to live a new life.
