51. Caught

"Why are you silent? Please say that it is not true!" Dad snapped.

I can't say anything. I've been desperately hiding from him all this time; why should he be found out now?

"Look at this!"

Dad threw out my pictures of being bullied by the Aster Gang back then.

"Who gave it to you?" I asked slowly.

"Does it matter? Now, what's important is your honesty! Is it true that you were the victim of bullying at your school? I'm going to see your principal tomorrow! It doesn't matter whose child she is—even the president—if she dares to harm my daughter, I will give her no mercy!" cried Dad with fists clenched.

I took a deep breath.

I hugged my dad very tightly. I can feel his heart beating so fast. He must be furious.

"I can get through it, Dad," I whispered.

I let go of his arms and asked him to sit in the living room so we could chat more quietly.

"Tell everything to me!" asked Dad.
