68. Come Back Home

"Welcome Home!" Dad shouted, unlocking the house's security alarm.

I laughed at some of the traps I had memorized by heart.

I thought Dad had given up his habit of experimenting, but he hasn't.

I stepped in my dad's footsteps because if I hadn't, I would have stuck to the glue on the very sticky floor. My memory immediately floats back to when Gab was trapped there. Poor boy.

"Unlucky days aren't on the calendar; didn't you know that?" said Dad casually.
