Josh pov

After getting David tucked in I head for Claire who looks sad he is the most withdrawn little boy I ever seen. He flinched a lot and hearing him cry breaks your heart.

"is he okay?",she looks up waiting on an answer.

"no, I sigh, he was sobbing in the bathroom before bed. I didn't push him to tell me what was wrong",I knew what was wrong he was dumped off on us and his mom didn't care if he was terrified or happy with it.

"oh Josh, Claire looked up the hallway, what do we do?",I sighed.

"we be there for him",I look at her. She sits and we start a movie and thirty minutes in a scream has us jerking up. Dad hauls ass for David and busting in the room he is in the corner screaming and crying.

"I'm sorry, he sobs, I'm sorry...I won't be bad I promise ",what have they done to him. Dad moves to him and he finches away.

"David, he says softly, your okay buddy. We won't hurt you",he sobs and pushes his face into the corner.
