Chapter 85- Trying to please him
The next morning Lisa’s sleep was disturbed by the heaviness she felt around her waist. She looked down, only to see Carl Black’s arm snaked her body. She turned her head and watched his handsome face. His hair was messy, and some strands had fallen on his forehead. She reached out her hand to push back his hair but her hands froze in the mid-air when she saw him opening his eyes and looking at her. She retracted her hand and tried to get up, but his grip around her waist tightened.
Then she heard him say, "It's still early. Sleep for a while."
Lisa grabbed her phone from the side table and looked at the time. It was 6 in the morning. She couldn't help but ask, "Aren't you going jogging today?"
"No." He replied casually, closing his eyes. He didn’t intend to get up.
