Ember's POV

Getting back to work was a good thing because I could finally use my brains. It wasn't good if I had to wait all these while to resume. I didn't know how much I missed working until I saw the familiar walls of my factory.

Sonia was all smiles as she walked toward me and I smiled at her in response.

"I've missed us being here."

"Yeah, me too."

She stared at me as I thought about how to repay her for her kindness. "What do you dream of having but don't yet have?" I asked stylishly.

She shrugged, "I don't know. I have come farther than I expected. I don't think I want more. I'm quite grateful for how far I've come."

I shook my head. Was this humility or she was just trying to push me away?

"I don't think anyone should be complacent with a position. We all aspire to be greater, you should be the same."
