Ansari's pov

I struggled to my feet and turned to Jasper.

“You should have seen this coming. It was pretty obvious." He said.

My head spun, but I knew what had to be done. Jasper is to be put down soon.

"The town, the pack, if your people are all corrupted…" the thought was sickening.

“Yes, your people will be killed before the dawn of tomorrow. You might try your best to save them, but you've already got a lot on your hands, and it is as it is." He said with a smile. My daughter, Mira, was back home surrounded by enemies she thought were friends. Jasper was enjoying this… I could not believe this was Jasper.

"Jasper, you have to fight this; you have to fight Saltos. This isn't you." I pleaded.

"Ohh, but it is. We wolves have a part of us that craves death and the hunt. Aren't you tired of hiding, of being forced to keep away from humanity?"
