JEREMIAH I feel much better after going down into the dungeons. When I get back up and into the castle, I notice that it is very close to dawn. I head back to my chambers as now I have myself back under control. I now feel as if can face her and maybe even apologize. I am surprised and a little alarmed when I enter my chambers and see Emma standing in her normal spot in the middle of the room instead of under the window where I have been finding her lately. I am even more surprised when I smell her blood. I am sure I didn't do anything to her to draw blood and, with her healing, it wouldn't smell as fresh as it does. JEREMIAH Once outside, I lean up against one of the SUVs that is taking us to the airport. As I wait for my mother to join me, I let the images of Emma's naked body laid out in front of me go through my mind.
