Chapter 3

  Alex

It hurt me to know that the moon goddess had chosen the wrong person to be my mate. The moon goddess has chosen me to be the mate of my enemy's daughter. The man who was responsible for the death of my parents' daughter was my mate. How can the moon goddess do this to me? I have always tried my best to be a good person, and this is how she repays me.

“My parents were killed by your father; I had waited for a long time to avenge my parents' deaths, and I finally got the chance, yesterday,” I said while glaring murderously at her.

I glared at my mate, and I couldn't help but wonder why I hadn't rejected her yet. I knew that was what I should have done, but I didn't. I knew I couldn't, and I exhaled deeply while glaring daggers at her.

My mate was in disbelief, and she shook her head, disagreeing with me, and I couldn't help but feel angry. It was one of the things that I hated. I hate to be disagreed with when there is evidence, and this is what she was doing. I will make sure she regrets this. She will regret ever trying to disagree with me. She will pay dearly for all this.

"No., no., my father can't do that." "There must be a misunderstanding behind your parents' deaths, but my father would never have killed your parents.” she said, and I scoffed angrily.

My eyes turned cold, and I stared at my friend with a questioning look on my face, wanting to know if she was saying I was lying.

“Are you saying I'm lying?” I yelled at her with an offended look on my face. I couldn't believe she would say I'm a liar.

“Bring those who were her father's confidants here, and mind you. "You will pay for this,” I said to the guards, and they bowed their heads.

“Please look into this; my father isn't cruel,” she defended, and I felt my blood boil with anger.

I knew she would want to defend her father and won't believe anything I say, like father, like daughter. I stared at her with hatred. All I wanted at that moment was to hit and kill him, but I controlled myself. After some minutes, she dragged her father's confidants.

“I want you all to tell the truth, and if you dare try to hide anything, you will be killed one by one,” I threaten them with a mean look on my face.

They all shivered with fear, but that isn't my main concern; they have been tortured and have confessed about everything, and I want them to prove my mate wrong.

“Her father killed his mother after his mate died, and that is because her mother died after giving birth to him." "He was mentally unstable, and he vented his anger on your dad, whose pack was the weakest then,” one of them said, and I turned to look at her with an angry look on my face as I stared at her.

I couldn't believe she had caused the deaths of many people in this life, and she is acting like she didn't do a thing wrong. She has caused a lot of deaths, and she is still acting modestly here.

“You caused everything, and I'm sure that you are no different from your father." You shouldn't be nonexistent; another person died in your place. "You killed a lot of people with your existence,” I said to her, and she stared at me with shock. A glare from me made her close her mouth; she seems not to know what she is into.

People all call me a ruthless alpha, but none of the things I will do to her will be as they have seen; they'll conclude that I'm a devil when I'm done with my mate. She is nothing to me, and I couldn't understand why my mouth was so heavy with rejection. It was like my lips were tied to each other every time I wanted to reject her.

“I'm not like my father; I was just like a maid to them; I mean, they all treated me like a maid; I was being bullied all the time; please let me go; I know nothing about this,” she said, and I looked at her with disdain.

She is just like her father, and she is going to pay for what her father did. She caused her father to lose his sanity, and he attacked the whole pack alone, and before he regained his sanity, he had killed a lot of people. He would have killed all of us, and that is because this pack was weak, and I have promised myself not to let that happen again. I don't know the reason why the moon goddess gave her to me as my mate.

“Take her to her father; let her spend some time with her father," I commanded with a frown plastered on my face. All I was feeling at that moment was anger toward her and her father. Her father will be dead soon, and she will be powerless just like I was then.

“Please let me go, please," she pleaded, tears dripping down her face.

“What are you waiting for?” I shouted, and they rushed in and dragged her out.

She said she knows nothing about this; she knows nothing about what her father did, and her pack member just confirmed it. even after hearing that she was the cause. I'm going to make her pay.

I won't forgive any of them, no matter who they are.

I'm going to avenge the deaths of my parents, and I will not let any of them go. I will avenge my pack and my parents. I'm her father.

I don't know the reason why the moon goddess would give her to me as my mate; she is the daughter of my enemy, and she's also my enemy, so there is no way I would be close to her. The only thing I want is to avenge my parents' deaths and the deaths of those who fought to keep us safe.

With that thought in my head, I walked out of the dungeons with a cold look on my face, as I found it hard to believe.
