Ezra’s POV

“W-What Luna are you saying?”

Yeah. What do you mean by that? I wanted to ask.

I look at Ryler, dumbfounded. I still haven’t recovered from what he said when his hand crawled to mine and intertwined our fingers.

“A-Alpha…” I uttered.

Laura scoffed. “Alpha?!” she mimicked what I said in an angry voice. She eyed me from head to toe before smirking at me with no humor. She then crosses her arms over her chest. “Shouldn’t you call him Master Ryler because you are a slave?”

Although she is displaying a strong façade, the way her hands quiver under her crossed arms says that she can’t control her emotions anymore.

“I said enough, Laura,” Ryler said.

His hand squeezes mine, making me look at him.

“Let’s go. We will be late. They are already waiting,” he said.

I nod my head and enter the car. Ryler gently closed the door for me while Roman jogged to the driver’s seat to hop in.
