Chapter 51

Ezra’s POV

“Are you good?” Ryler asked after we entered the elevator.

Roman is standing in front of us. He was the one who pressed the button where we were heading.

I dart my head’s direction to Ryler and nod. He then reached for my hand and intertwined our fingers. When I looked in front, I saw Roman through the stainless reflection on the elevator, staring at Ryler. The ghost of a smile on his lips can be felt. He probably sensed I was staring and look at me in the eye.

I silently cleared my throat and avoided my gaze at him.

“We’re here,” Ryler said when the elevator stopped at the exact floor.

We went straight to the meeting hall where the meeting was held the last time. I honestly do not know why Ryler wants me to be here. Last time, the Whitlocks wanted to buy me. And now, I cannot think of any other reason why I should be at the meeting.
