Ezra's POV

I stare at Gia. Her words still couldn't sink in my mind.

"Come again?" I asked in disbelief.

Gia sigh. "I t-think the accident was not an accident. I think it was a stunt to sabotage the activity," she explained even though it is not necessary.

I shake my head, not wanting to accept what I heard. "It's impossible. We clearly saw the burn in that kid's arm. There's no way that it was intentional."

Plus, if it was true that it is indeed a sabotage, how could a kid can do that? How could she burn herself intentionally?

I felt Ryler's presence behind me. He place his left hand on the wall while his other hand rested around my waist.

I saw how Gia's eyes widens when she saw Ryler appeared in my room. She immediately bow her head and awkwardly smiled at me. I can already hear her 'OMG, Alpha Ryler is in your room?!'
