Chapter 84

Ezra's POV

I wipe my tears and went straight to the bathroom to wash my face. I can't stay here in my room all day, crying my eyes out. I was not born weak.

I rest my palms on the edge of the sink after switching the faucet on. I scoop a refreshing water from the faucet and flashed it on my face. I let the cold water give me a refreshing start.

As I stare at my reflection on the small mirror glued on the wall just above the sink, I notice my fair and pale skin.

I bite my lower lip. I've been working so hard lately. Sometimes, I wonder if this is what I really want to do, or l am just doing this to impress others.

"Of course, I love the kids," I whispered to myself, battling the argument inside my brain.

But since I was proclaimed as the Luna of this pack, I think nothing other than other people.

I understand that it was something us as the leader of the pack should prioritize. But it is hard to function everyday especially if you have problems on your own that remained unsolved.
