I looked to my side and couldn't help but smile. Beau was sound asleep beside me and I didn't blame him. It's nearing midnight and we've been out since around 4 in the afternoon. Nothing hurts the most then seeing the person you had come to love more than anything laying limp in the dirt with blood oozing from his wounds and mouth after a fight. It's been three weeks since the whole accident happened and today Derek was finally getting discharged from the infirmary and I couldn't wait to see him once I got home. I woke up feeling a heavily weight on my chest and looked down to see a sleeping Beau and couldn't help but smile at his peaceful look. He looked like a small child at the way he scrunched his nose and his eyes twitched every once in a while. I never imagined meeting my mate when I moved to Canada and didn't think just how much they would mean to me until I met him on my first day of school a few weeks ago.
