Sixty Eight

Melina's pov

The light of dawn seeped into the room through the slightly drawn curtains, lightening up the previously dark room. The just risen sun shone softly, casting a rosy hue across the morning sky.

The first rays of sunlight seeped into the room and I squinted my eyes open. Unable to adjust to the sudden brightness, I closed them back and took in a deep breath before opening them again.

I glanced around the room and took in a deep breath to wake myself. Just in time, the loud blaring of the alarm jolted me completely awake and I sat up with a start.

The moment I sat up, I grimaced in discomfort.

Fuck!

My whole body aches and my head bangs a lot from the many tears I shed yesterday, I held my head down in pain, as I tried to suppress the pain I was feeling from the migraine that was kicking in.
