"Damn she is beautiful," I whispered to myself as I watched Melina walk down the aisle toward me.

I woke up before the first rays of sunlight even touched the horizon. It was the day I had been waiting for, the day of my mating ceremony with Melina. I didn't want to disturb her peaceful slumber, so I quietly slipped out of our room and made my way toward the ceremony hall. I walked down the hallway and I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement coursing through my veins. I had spent days planning every detail of this event, and now, finally, the day had arrived.
