Suddenly, my heart beat faster when I saw that Phil was the new owner of the Sunshine Shopping Mall where Mildy and I currently working. Except for his slightly plump cheeks, his appearance hasn't changed since I left. He is still handsome and has a strong sex appeal. So I can't blame my co-workers if they get excited looking at Phil because even though we've been together for a few months, my heart still beats faster every time I see him including now. And it's not a good sign for me.

Wake up, Amber! What is happening to you? You must have forgotten that he hurt you, a small voice inside my mind reminded me. I quickly shook my head to shake off any feelings and thoughts that were resurfacing when I saw Phil.
