Bridge Ways Mixed.

Juma knew that Ali’s religion would want him to rush home so he did not hesitate on agreeing to him for the short notice request of leave. Then again, Ali’s leave was supposed to be on this weekend so it was not bad to allow him to head for his sister’s funeral.

Then again, Juma was not going to be heartless enough as to only give him the funeral leave because of the upcoming one.

“Do not worry, I will ask for your transportation to be arranged and your leave this weekend is still available,” Juma added as an afterthought reassuringly.

“Thank you sir Namu, but…that won’t be necessary. I have to work for the days I’ll be gone,” Ali said quickly, not wanting to use Juma’s kindness for his benefit even though he knew the degree of his kindness.

Juma looked at Ali who was standing three steps from him and revealed a broad smile as he spoke, “I said it should not worry you. We can manage. If not, we will have to disturb the hotels these few days.
