Chapter 73

The impact of the crash must have knocked me unconscious. When I came to, I found myself hanging upside down still attached to my seat by the seat belt. I had a big gash in my head and the blood was dripping onto the roof of the car. I looked around realizing whoever ran me off the road was nowhere to be seen. I tried to carefully unbuckle myself, but I went crashing onto the roof and giving myself minor cuts with all the broken glass that was laying around.

I tried looking for my phone, but I was still a bit disoriented and could not navigate myself around properly just yet. I sat there in a daze for a few moments when a minivan pulled to a stop. A young woman came running over to me to assist me. I insisted I was okay and did not need an ambulance. I borrowed her phone and called mine, finding it in the back seat area.
