We meet again

I have spent two months in the office, and things have been going smoothly. I prepared a proposal to buy the oldest building in the city, demolish it and reconstruct it into a fine hotel. I sent the proposal to my dad.

He told me to present it to the board of partnership to see who was interested in the project so we could go on.

“Layla, come into my office.” I said into the telephone.

“Ok ma’am.” She responded quickly. She walked into my office in her usual tight skirt, nude top, her hair in a bun and her face with light makeup. She wore flats too, unlike me. I wear heels to work every day.
