I glanced at my wrist watch almost every second. I couldn’t tell why Kayla was yet to make her appearance.

After my meeting with James two nights ago, I had gone back to my room to ponder over what he had said.

He was not wrong to say that Kayla needed us at this point of her life because I felt it in my soul. From the way she looked, it was quite clear that she was going through a rough phase of life but I was in a tight spot as well.

There was nothing much I could do since I was also trying to keep us all safe and free from the trouble that would arise if our secret get out of the bag.

“She would need a dress for the party”, my wolf had whispered to me and for a minute, I wanted to shove it aside.

The last time I got her dress was chaotic and I wasn’t certain that I wanted to go down that part again.

“It doesn’t hurt to do her good. This is the only way to help out since you all decided to snub her”, my wolf went further, obviously displeased by how we all kept our distan
