Kayla.

“I see that someone got a dress”, I heard the voice of Bianca and even if I was still deep in slumber, I detested that voice.

I slept quite late last night since I was awake and lost in thoughts of what next I wanted to do in life. I had different thoughts swirling around my head and it wasn’t surprising that I slept after midnight.

Even in my sleep, I knew that it was the day of the long awaited party. I wasn’t so moved like other students who wouldn’t stop talking about it.

My heart seemed like a puzzle at the moment and all I wanted was some help with figuring things out. The last thing I wanted to think about was a party that would have little to no benefit to me. But then, every other students wouldn’t stop talking about.

And so, early that morning, I wasn’t quite puzzled when it dawned on me that Bianca and Ashley were already awake and getting ready for the day.

“It came for Kayla! Who would have sent her such a thing”, I heard Ashley’s voice and this time, it dawned
