I stirred on the bed, groaning lightly the minute the sun hit my eyes. The blinds were meant to be closed, but I knew what happened already...my enemy roommates opened it already.

I jerked up and focused my gaze to their bed space and to my widest surprise, none of them were in the room.

This was barely 8:am and a Saturday. From what we were told, Saturdays are barely hectic because you have enough time to rest before coming out for sports later.

Squinting my eyes in curiosity, I got off my bed and proceeded to start my day. I took a quick bath and just as I did, I recalled everything that had happened ever since my arrival at the academy.

I never believed or imagined that I could control my powers in my mind. That singular discovery excited me to the core.

I thought of Jason and a wry smile spread across my lips. Even if we were core enemies, there was something intriguing about him. His fierceness was one thing that drew me to him.
