PIERCING THROUGH THE HEART

I was able to take Kayla out of the scene just as I suddenly felt a wave of responsibility over her. It came as a full force, making me realize that Kayla was under my watch and that simply meant that I had to take care of her at all times.

This was a hard decision to play with because I was trying so hard to take Kayla out of my mind and activities.

It wasn’t working though, especially after what happened earlier today. Seeing her drenched in raw eggs and watching how she stood there, with tears in her eyes, made me feel something I’ve never felt before.

I was angry to the core and at the same time, I felt a sense of ownership.

We got to her room and the atmosphere became tensed. I could see that she wasn’t fully glad that I was around because she kept flinching each time my hands touched her face.

She told me why after sometime…

Deep down, she felt that I wasn’t with a clean heart. Once, I’m showing her how much I care for her, and the next, I’m the thorn in her flesh.
