The past days turned out to be smooth and not filled with so much events. Kayla was cool with everyone of us and that created a bond I never imagined that I could have with her.

I knew that the mate bond thing was real, even if I claimed otherwise. This was because of how much I had Kayla in my thoughts, even in my dreams. It started feeling like I shared a life with her because my entire being was engulfed with things that concerned her.

I tried to stay away from her as much as I could too, but that didn’t always work out because we would bump into each other during breakfast, lunch or dinner.

I was on my way to the football field when I looked towards the pool area and saw three ladies. A closer look at them revealed Bianca, Ashley and Kayla.

Ashley was sitting some distance away from them, but I could tell that she was interested or involved in whatever it was that was currently going on.

“What are they up to now?” I asked myself as I stopped in my tracks to observe them.
