PIERRE POV

I was beginning to think Poseidon was a punishment created by the almighty exclusively for me. He had to seriously be a demon straight from me, or some weapon forged to strike me down many times before finally tearing me for the last time and straight to death. This had to be karma for the sins I committed in my previous life.

And it was just too much.

The Boston Inner Harbor was bustling with people who were buoyant with the coming cruise. I could feel a spark of current frizzling through the air as everyone prattled about this and that, creating a soft hum of distraction that washed all over me harmoniously.
