"I know this paints me as a bad person, but it's not as bad as it looks," Blaze was seated across from his brothers, plates of untouched food on the dining table. He doubted anyone actually wanted to eat anyway.

"Actually, it paints you as a terrible person", Hunter chipped in, and Blaze looked at him exasperated. Not helping.

"Am I allowed to explain?" He asked.

"Well, if there's a way to make it look proper for you to be lovers with your father's wife while he was alive, by all means, do so" Axel said. That was the most painful part of it all. "You both didn't even wait till Dad was dead; I mean, he was halfway to the grave already. Talk about being cruel."

"Did Dad know?" Hunter asked in a low voice.

Blaze suddenly wished he could say no. Anything to save his image in their eyes would do at the moment.

He nodded slightly. "That was why he asked me at dinner the other day."
