Aurora’s pov

I watched as Max entered the room, everything was confusing and frustrating. I didn’t want to go with him but I wasn’t bold enough to stand up for myself.

“What is your problem Lilith?” Max frowned at Lilith as he walked towards her.

Jerry moved over to cover Lilith from any harm Max was about to cause.

Max never mentioned he had a sister but of course he does, he only acts that way when things get to him, he moved away from her as Jerry wouldn’t bulge and moved to my bed instead .

My eyes were on the handsome tall man in front of me, as much as I didn't recognize him I just could not get my eyes off him.

The doctor came in and took care of the rest and put me to bed to prevent me from straining myself too much but before I fell asleep completely I saw Max get dragged out by that handsome man and the look on his face was not friendly at all.

When I woke up the doctors were handing over a file to Max for him to sign.
