Eden’s phone started ringing. It was a short text. She picked it up and looked at it. While she was responding to it, she answered Alain’s question, “Monday.”

“Riverside Senior High isn’t as simple as it seems. Be careful.” Alain knew that she was quite prideful and was interested to know how she would do at Riverside Senior High.

He probably had to find someone to protect her in secret.

“Yeah,” Eden chugged the beer bottle in her hand in one gulp as she sat on the chair.

When Jasmine came down, she then saw how strangely harmonious things were between Alain and Eden. The resentment inside of her was getting stronger and stronger.

Didn’t they say Alain was brutal and violent?

Why was he treating Eden so well?

She hesitated a little before hiding the coldness in her eyes and walked over to Alain and said, “Master Alain, since my sister doesn't know anyone here, can I stay with her here for a while? I’ll move back once she gets used to life here.”
