Idea!!

[Cafe]

The University canteen is huge that almost could accommodate 500 students. It follows a coupon system, where the students who would like to have food would require buying a coupon for the desired item from the counter. This counter is the first thing a person sees from the wide entrance door. These coupons should be exchanged for food on the section to the right of the coupon counter. The University cafeteria also has a snacks section which is located to the left of the coupon counter.

...

Hana and Nabi were drinking their drinks, sitting opposite each other, thinking to themselves. The cafeteria was almost empty as many students didn't come from their hometowns as there were two more days for the new semester to start.

Nabi has arrived early as her mother didn't encourage her vampire fantasy. She insisted Ian come along with her and lie that they had some additional work as they were in the last year. Since she was afraid that her mother might call Hana, she called Hana's mother to send her daughter, convincing her that it was the best time for Hana to socialize with others as they didn't have assignments to work on then.

That was her crazy and madness for vampires.

On the other hand, Hana was shivering in fear, not understanding what Nabi planned with Ian. The only thing she knew about Ian was that he was Nabi's friend, and always being with Nabi alone or with some girlfriends made her not even know about Ian's face or looks. Nevertheless, she acknowledged him as a gentleman based on Nabi's experiences with him.

Gulping her drink, she fixed her eyes on the door.

A tall teenager with an athletic body in a white shirt and blue jeans entered. His brown eyes and hair quite complimented his light skin tone.

Hana's pupils dilated on looking at his clean look. Looking at him, she thought, "I have seen many boys on campus, but why am I unable to remove my gaze from him. Ian? Will he be sitting beside me?. Noooooo." She could feel her heart racing as he came towards her, and that was making her crazy. Her eyes weren't in her control, so they refused to remove the gaze from him.

Ian came and sat in the chair between them, but Hana was still staring at him. Being one of the handsome chunks in the University, he learned to put up with those gazes from girls. He was keenly looking at the person who called him to come but was least bothered when he arrived.

Observing that Ian didn't even bother to look at her, Hana stopped glancing at him. "You aren't that pretty to catch attention from a handsome guy," she told herself and continued sipping her drink.

"Hello Mam", Ian muttered, peering at Nabi.

Nabi swapped to reality on hearing Ian's voice and uttered, "Yes, I saw you," and again fell in her thought regarding how she should start explaining the situation to Ian. She looked dissatisfied with every idea that stroke her mind. "Uff", she murmured and saw two faces eagerly waiting for her to introduce them.

"Hana, this is Ian and Ian, this is Hana", she babbled, still hunting for a perfect way to ask him to help Hana socialize with boys. Will he think that I am asking him to be a mediator? Should I leave them here so that they can talk and familiarize each other? But will this naive girl utter a word? At least will she allow me to go, Nah! , she won't.

As Nabi was analyzing, Ian took the initiative to speak to Hana.

"Hi, Hana! I heard a lot about you from Nabi. But this is the first time seeing you in person."

"Sorry, I am a reserved person." she faintly spoke without even giving a glance.

Ian had to drag his chair towards Hana to hear her and wished that he had Nabi's sensitive ears.

"Oh! You can be comfortable with me. Nabi's friend is also my friend," he commented in a friendly tone.

Hana gave a smile, not understanding what she should be replying to, started drinking again.

"You have a wonderful dimple. Can I touch it!" Ian said with an amused look abruptly.

Hana choked and started coughing after listening to what she heard.

Ian smirked after looking at her, "Not a problem, let me when you are comfortable."

Nabi's noticed Ian's clothes and inquired, "Why are you dressed?"

"Great!! Finally !! What are you deeply thinking? Vampire movie or novel?" Ian asked satirically and started drinking Nabi's drink.

"Wanna fight till your neat white shirt turns into a rag," Nabi yelled, twisting his right ear.

Hana's eyes bulged out, viewing the scene. She didn't know that they were that close. She was also in a dilemma if they liked each other.

Noticing Hana, she removed her hand from him and questioned again, wishing that he would say shopping or movie or restaurant..., anywhere outside the campus.

"Library and book shopping, do you want to come?" he asked anxiously.

Hearing that she was on cloud nine but controlled her enthusiasm and remarked, "Nope, actually Hana wanted to go, but I didn't want to send her alone. Why don't you go with her? Even she is book worm like you."

Hana started scratching her head at what Nabi intended, and mainly she didn't know how she should react in this context with a guy. Should I be happy? No! Then he might think I am interested in him? Should I be sad that Nabi isn't coming? No! Then would he assume that I am uncomfortable with him?

Her thought process on 'How to react?' came to a halt when Ian had asked something, which Hana obviously did hear.

"What?" was the only reaction she could give after the whole stupid analysis.

"What kind of books do you read? Novels, Study-related, Comics, Friction, History, Politics, Young Adult, Romance or biographies."

Hana and Nabi were stunned by the list he read, and before they could respond, he urged, "Don't say Vampires or werewolves or aliens Please!"

That made Hana laugh, and finally, she turned into a tomato laughing. Nabi frowned but was happy to see Hana comfortable and at ease.
