Chapter 57- Betrayed

"I still don't understand how this tunnel is going to lead into some basement of some mansion" Grace bent putting her hands on her knees out of exhaustion.

They had been walking for some minutes in the tunnel using a map they got from Cale.

It seemed she had gotten another thing to complain about. She had been whining about the weirdness of the solo policeman that came to retrieve the kids. After she already was not in support of saving the kids in the beginning.

Raymond felt she was just complaining for sake of complaining. Maybe she had a personal problem she was dealing with. Dealing with a personal problem was normal, the issue therein was not sharing what it was and obscuring it with frequent complaints.
