Dallas' POV

"What's what?" Wanda asked back, looking confused by my sudden change in attitude, but I had no desire to answer because I was busy with the many thoughts in my head that were immediately overwhelming.

Wanda's words still rang, making me feel cheated by Sean and Arabella. Those two people didn't tell me anything other than that Arabella was fine. I thought nothing had happened other than that. My hands were clenched into fists. "So they really wanted to hide it from me."

"Did Arabella not tell you?" Wanda asked. I gave her a sharp look and stood up, ignoring the rest of my food as I had no appetite. "Ah, damn. I shouldn't have said anything to you. I made a mistake because of my mouth again, damn it."

I walked quickly after paying the bill, eager to get home, but Wanda was still chasing me and trying to stop me. "What are you going to do, scold Arabella again?" She yelled and stopped me in my tracks. I caught my breath and turned around, seeing the woman who had regained
