Chapter 21

"What is it you want from me?" Jane replied. Her tone wasn't friendly at all and showed no aim of entertaining him.

Her voice changed from being sweet to bitter and harsh.

"I just want us to hang out tomorrow morning. Anywhere you want to go." This wasn't his idea at all. His mom convinced him to take her out in a polite manner. He had complained to his mom about her attitude and she suggested this as a solution.

"What!!" She thought to her self. Jane felt like she didn't hear him clearly. Why does he want to hang?

"You mean like a date?" She asked, expecting his next reply to lead to their usual quarrel but he was still soft.

"Yeah exactly. like a date." He replied.

"Alright no problem. You pick the location and send me the address." Despite she didn't want to go, she was still going to give him the chance. Also, she was curious as to why he sounded really soft.

"Cool. I'll come pick you up tomorrow morning if that's cool with you."

"Yeah it is."

"Alright then. Goodnight." He replie
