They both ran towards gargoyle Judy on opposite sides of the fire, dragging Mr Grim with them.

Soon Mr Grim was flying through the fire. His body now engulfed in flames.

Ella should have been feeling deep remorse about what she had just done but her Luna raged in her. She knew that she had to save her own skin.

The ropes burned and Mr Grim was now flung into gargoyle Judy.

They both lay in a heap.

Standing on opposite ends, Ella and officer Duke drew in deep breaths, they huffed and puffed and blew the flames.

The screams that rose from the circle of fire pierced their ears but the continued on their quest to vanquish the evil within it.

What seemed like almost half an hour, left them tired and worn out but all they could see beyond the smoke was two bodies that fell to the ground in a heap of ash.

They both met at the pile of ash, sniffing and pawing through the remains, making sure that they were destroyed for good.
