The first guests disappeared after the famous "hour of decency" and the alcohol had an effect on me. A few danced to the music blasting out of the player and Debby and I joined them. We both danced, slightly drunk, with the small dance group at the back of the garden.

Dwayne kept laughing as he watched us. It amused him because we also did a lot of nonsense on the side and fooled around.

When I turned back to Dwayne, I saw Debby walking towards him and he himself stood up and shook someone's hand in greeting and laughed as he did so. Beside me, a girl screeched and another jumped up and down. What the hell...?

I also followed Debby and she just gave Taylor and Simon a hug in greeting. My heart raced at the thought of Jayden being here. I stretched out and found him with my sister.
