CHAPTER SEVENTY THREE

Finally after four months and some weeks I entered into labour. It was on a weekend and fortunately Anabelle was around. I was immediately rushed to the hospital where I delivered a baby girl.

Going into labour and delivering was really the one thing I dreaded most. I had told a nurse about that and how I feared that I might not survive it and she had assured me that I could bear it and after all the pains I would go through the joy of seeing the child would take them all away.

That was really what had happened. At a time I thought I might even die as I couldn't bear the pain anymore but when I saw the face of the child, my child, the pain vanished and I became unconscious. Apart from the pains I pass through while pushing, there was no complications.

I didn't know I had passed out until I woke up. I had been cleaned up now and I felt better.

The baby was laid on my arms and it was a girl. She was so beautiful and looked so much like Daniel.
