I held her hand and looked into her eyes. “To take you back home. You can't be out here on your own,” I said.

But she shook her head. “No, Bella. I can't come back. It is just so hard for me,” she explained, her voice trembling.

“You can't leave when you are pregnant,“ I said. I didn't know why she was so stupid. “Abby, I did this same thing when I was pregnant. It is not easy at all,” I explained.

“But you still survived, right?“ She asked, tears falling from her eyes. “Bella, I don't want to go back. Please, just leave. Tell them you didn't see me.“

I sighed. “Is it because of Trisha? Chris isn't her child's dad. You don't have to worry about that anymore,” I said at last.

I had thought that it would be a good idea if she heard that directly from Chris. However, I had to do anything to make her stay.
