Chapter 65: Come with me.

Seeing the white walls of the hospital reminds me of the night my grandmother died and a bitter taste finds itself to the back of my throat. I swallow it down and look at the bright side. At least it’s not the same hospital my grandma died in.

I go to the counter, “Hi, good day. I’m here to see Sienna Finn. She was brought in by an ambulance a while ago.” The nurse points in the direction of the hallway to my right, not uttering a word. I go down with a grimace and take a deep breath before i enter the room.

The emergency med doctor is in the room, the male one, and with him is…. Malachi’s father, Sienna’s husband.

I groan silently and approach the table cautiously. I haven’t had too much interactions with Malachi’s father, but for him to be here it means Sienna was conscious enough to give the hospital his number. If she could do that, then it means she’s fine right?

“Ah. This is the lady we met at the mansion. She called the ambulance.”
