In a little while my appearance had changed from the wealthy heiress image I portrayed earlier to a modest house wipe. Waiting in the bathroom was a set of facial wipes, I couldn't help but wonder if they had predicted I would be showing up like this which is why they had prepared it.

The pack was new and untouched which fueled my suspicions, I made a mental note to take this up with Lydia when I run into her later. I didn't expect to find Opal waiting outside the door, she didn't seem too happy about it either.

Her small lips were presses into a thin line as she roamed her eyes through me, a single word escaped her lips. "Better."

With her leading the way, we trailed obediently behind. My patience was wearing thin but I told myself to endure, wanting to get to the root of this.

We walked into the room and every body halted their movements, casting their glance upon me. I noticed that they were all staring at me, no one even acknowledged Ruth who was behind me.
