Allison's POV
Breakfast was an awkward affair. I was not sure how I would face Madison and Maddox considering the way I had made an ass of myself by worrying about Dante whom I claimed to hate.
The funny thing was that if I had my way, I would do what I did for him last night over and over again. I glanced at Dante. He was looking better now, thanks to me. His color had returned and he could move his injured hand a little bit.
The weakness seemed to be ebbing. He had also donned his cold, aristocratic, and authoritative mask. What happened yesterday already began to feel like a dream. Dante whining and just being a crybaby. I had no idea that there was a softer and more approachable side to him.

Allison's POVI had to get out of the house even if it was for a little while. I cussed the traitors in Dante's pack who had instigated this forced curfew. I walked towards the front door hoping the guards were somehow absent. No such luck. The door was open but at the entrance, I counted six guards. Allison's POVThe guards were all tense as we came into view of the house. I hid a grin. Dante must have told them all off for letting me leave the house. The eyes of the guard who had tried to stop me from leaving met mine.He looked uneasy. I met his gaze with no change of expression. The other guards fidgeted as we passed. Allison's POVAfter Dante left, I set about preparing to go down for breakfast. I did not want him to have to send someone to call me. If he found out I was reluctant to eat, he might just decide to stay back. I could not let that happen. I needed space to sort out my emotions, and to think.
