Chapter Seventy

Elena woke up the next morning missing Vanessa. She had this pain in her heart, one she couldn't explain. It was odd and strange to her because she had never felt something like that before and she hated to think that something was wrong with her. Once, her mother had told her that the reason why we miss people, when the feeling came, was usually because something might not be going well for them but Elena didn't want that for Vanessa.

Vanessa was a little girl and she shouldn't be made to pass through things that would actually see her struggling through life, she didn't want that for her but yet, this feeling within her refused to leave.

''What's going on with Vanessa?'' Elena murmured.

She rose up from her bed, picking up her phone even though she didn't know what to do with it. She wasn't about to call Andrea to find out, far from it because she never wanted to hear from him ever again. As she paced about in her room, racking her brain on who to call, an idea hit her.
