Chapter 20 Thaddeus

Thaddeus's POV

"Come on, this is your last set!"

I said to a very frustrated Noah.

His legs are still too weak to support his body.

The doctor wanted to see how strong his legs were. Since Noah refuses to let the doctor touch him, I was the one who tried to help him stand.

Unfortunately, as soon as he put any of his body weight on his legs, his knees buckled. If I wasn't holding him, he would have fell to the ground.

It broke my heart when I saw the tears in his eyes. I'm not sure if he was embarrassed, or disappointed.

Maybe a little bit of both.

He's gaining weight, slowly but surely. Just not enough yet.

The wounds are almost completely healed. Although he does still have scars.

We won't know if any of those scars will be permanent until his first shift.

It depends on Noah and his body. It Also depends on the wounds itself. The smaller ones, the ones that are more superficial will most likely disappear.

The deeper ones, the wider and longer ones could possibly scar for life. Somet
