Chapter 23 Noah

Noah's POV

I slowly woke up to movement and the sound of a groan. I nuzzled into him as I felt him waking up. I felt his arm tightened around me. The one I was laying on before my eyes snapped open and I quickly looked at him.

I lifted my head as I looked at him. His head was moving, he licked his lips before his eyes slowly opened.

I finally looked into his brown eyes again and I felt my eyes tear up. He's alive and he's awake!

"Hey little fella!"

He said with a smile on his face. His voice was so rough and so deep.

He paused, then began looking around.

"We're in the hospital?... Ours?"

"Yes."

I said, gripping his shirt as I looked at him. Eager to find out if he can move, but afraid to say anything.

So instead I wait, and watch him. Hoping that he'll move everything.

"Goddess, how long was I out?"

"5... 5 days."

I said then he looked at me with wide eyes.

"Shit!" He said before he ruffled my hair.
