By the time the company’s bus dropped me off around the corner of the neighbourhood, I feel like crashing on the bed and never wake up. The work isn’t much but I never lift a thing earlier but at the office, I have to run here and there. This job is pretty exhausting for a ‘princess’ like me.

The dusk has marked its appearance when I leisurely stroll in the street, watching the energetic lives of people. I received greetings from passing by men and women and shouts from the kids who are only kind to me whereas I hardly interact with them.

“Hey, young lady, did you forget about this old woman who is your neighbour next door.” Windy’s tired voice comes from behind and I spot her walking very slowly and panting with grocery bags. My legs automatically move in her direction. She’s the first one to accept me with open arms and has a soft corner for me.

“Let me grab these.” I gesture her to hand me over few bags.
