Chapter 14: The Shape Shifter

Tangerine had been through a lot in the past few days. She had learned the truth about her past lives, found out that her husband had betrayed her, and discovered that her best friend was actually a shape shifter.

But despite all this, Tangerine felt a newfound sense of purpose. She was determined to protect the world from evil, no matter what it took.

As Tangerine sat alone in her apartment, she couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. She felt like she was being watched, and her instincts told her that danger was lurking around every corner.

Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Tangerine tensed up, wondering who it could be. She cautiously approached the door and peered through the peephole.

Standing on the other side was Dos, or at least, someone who looked exactly like him. Tangerine's heart raced as she realized that this was not her friend.
